Volunteers are the backbone of PRAI's capacity to serve communities. Whether you bring professional expertise, lived experience, or simply a commitment to making a difference — there is a meaningful role for you in our work.
All volunteers receive orientation, training, and ongoing support from PRAI staff.
How You Can Contribute
Build coordinated solutions together.
Strategic partnerships are central to PRAI's model. We actively seek partnerships with organizations across sectors — social services, healthcare, legal, government, education, and community — to build coordinated, survivor-centered service networks that create greater collective impact.
We welcome partnerships with organizations of all sizes — from grassroots community groups to national institutions.
How You Can Contribute
Provide governance leadership and strategic oversight.
PRAI is actively recruiting Board of Directors members with diverse professional backgrounds to strengthen its governance capacity and support organizational growth. Board members play a critical role in ensuring PRAI remains mission-aligned, financially responsible, and ethically governed.
Board members serve a two-year term with the option for renewal. Time commitment is approximately 4–6 hours per month.

Human trafficking, exploitation, and trauma affect thousands of individuals across Canada every year. Yet the systems designed to support survivors remain fragmented, underfunded, and often inaccessible to those who need them most.
PRAI exists to bridge those gaps — but we cannot do it alone. Every volunteer hour, every partnership, every donation, and every governance contribution directly strengthens our capacity to deliver the coordinated, survivor-centered support that communities need and deserve.
When you get involved with PRAI, you become part of a growing movement committed to restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and reshaping futures — one person, one community, one system at a time.
